Prism 10.4.0

Prism 10.4.0 was released on October 29, 2024.

Welcome to Prism 10.4.0!

New nonlinear dose-response models

This release introduces two new dose-response models for nonlinear regression. The Gaddum-Schild dose-response model is used for fitting to response data in the presence of a competitive inhibitor. As the concentration of inhibitor is increased, the resulting dose-response curve will shift to higher concentration values. Prism's original Gaddum-Schild models determine a best-fit value for the SchildSlope which quantifies how well this shift of the dose-response curve corresponds to the predicted shift due to competitive inhibition. Two new models (one for data when X is concentration and another for when X is log(concentration)) constrain the SchildSlope to its standard value of 1.0, simplifying the model fitting.

More intuitive controls for multiple variable heat maps

The axis controls for customizing heat maps generated from multiple variables data have been improved to be more intuitive and easier to use*. Because the axes of these graphs are categorical, controls designed for continuous values didn't quite make sense. So these controls have been re-designed to work for these categorical axes, making it easier to customize these graphs. These new controls can be found both in the Format Axes dialog as well as the Graph Inspector for multiple variables graphs.

A new integration with Dotmatics Luma

Make the most of your data and results from Prism through our new integration with Dotmatics Luma*, a Scientific Intelligence Platform designed to streamline research with AI-driven, adaptive workflows and seamless data integration.

By connecting Prism to Luma you can seamlessly automate sending your Prism files to a centralized location. There, your data and results will be extracted, parsed, and made available for easy downstream access, helping scientists and administrators unify and analyze large volumes of data for better decision-making.
