Why do I get a message about the object being too big for the page?

Prism is telling you that the graph (or some other object) on the page is too big for the page boundaries. There are two possible explanations:
  1. You have not installed a printer on this computer. Prism gets the page boundaries and margins from the printer driver, so gets confused if there is no driver present. Click Start..settings..printers. Choose a printer. You don't have to actually have a printer connected to your computer. You just have to choose a printer driver for Prism to "talk" to.

  2. You have selected a small page size. From Prism, drop the File menu and choose Printer setup. On the properties panel of the printer driver (each one is different), make sure that you have picked a standard page size and NOT labels or some other tiny size.
