When trying to open one of the Acrobat pdf manuals, I get the message: "Could not be opened as application that created it could not be found...".
To open a PDF (Acrobat) file, you must have the Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can get from the Adobe website.
If you already have the Acrobat Reader, then your computer is confused about file types. Instead of double clicking on the file icon, launch Acrobat, and use the "File.. Open" command.
