When I try to install Prism 5 Windows, I get the error message: "An attempt was made to execute an illegal instruction (oxc000001d) Occurred in the application at location 0x7c59bcb1."
The last thing the Prism 5 Windows installer does is install add-ons to allow Indexer and Google Desktop to find Prism files. These may not work on computers running Windows 2000, and can cause the installer to appear to crash. In many cases, however, Prism has actually been installed correctly. Check to see if there is a file called prism.exe in the Prism program folder. If there is, you can create a desktop shortcut and launch the program from that.
