When I export a layout from Prism 4 (Win or Mac), the exported file doesn't include the data points.

This is a known problem that was fixed in release in version 4.01 (Windows) and 4.0b (Mac).

The problem only comes up when the graphs lack connecting lines and error bars, and appear in the layout at fairly large sizes.

Workarounds for now are to:

• Shrink the graph in the layouts. Exporting works fine when graphs are shrunk to less than about a quarter-page in size (most people do shrink the graphs this much, which is why this problem went undiscovered in our tests).
• Export from the graph section rather than the layout.
• Add connecting lines.
• Copy Prism graphs and paste each one to PowerPoint, and  assemble the layout and export from there.
• Export to the WMF format (Windows only). The bug only occurs with the other export formats.
