What to do when points are superimposed in grouped scatter graphs?

A grouped scatter graph is away to show every data point of a grouped data table.

Prism tries to move points back and forth horizontally to prevent overlap. Usually this works fine. But in graphs with many data sets or rows with three (or more) values that are identical, Prism (up to 6.04 and 6.0e) superimposes some points. This means that someone reading the graph has a mistaken impression about how many values are graphed. We'll fix this, but here is an easy workaround: Double click on the graph to bring up Format Graph, and go to the third tab. Increase the value for "additional gap between groups" from its default value of 100% to something much larger, perhaps 400%. With this change, Prism rethinks how to horizontally space points, and will plot individual points for identical values and not superimpose them.
