Running Prism 4 for Windows, only some (or none) of the tool bars appear.
Vista or Windows 7. Toolbar shifted.
In the past, Microsoft has always ensured that older programs work great under new versions of Windows. This time, they weren't quite so good about compatibility. Prism 4 runs fine under Vista and Windows 7, but there are two minor problems with the toolbar. The first problem is that the toolbar is shifted to the right. If you have a small monitor, this will push the text tools (bold, underline, etc) off screen. To change the appearance of text, select the text then use Change...Selected text. Or right-click and use the shortcut menu. The second problem is that the dropdown used to navigate between results subsheets does not work. Instead, use the Navigator (on the left of the screen) or View menu to jump between results subsheets.First make sure you haven't turned some or all tool bars off. This is a choice on the View menu and the View tab of Preferences.
Toolbar missing
If you have set your options to show the toolbars, but they don't show, then you should reinstall or update Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer? Yep! Prism uses some Internet Explorer components to display its toolbar and a corrupt installation of Internet Explorer could prevent Prism from displaying its toolbars.
