Problem: XY graph that should show a nonlinear curve fit shows only axes, no data, no curve.
Several people using Windows XP have experienced this problem, starting with an XP update in Dec 2013. XY graphs that should show axes, data, and a curve generated by nonlinear regression in fact only show axes. That is what you see in the Graphs section of Prism. It looks fine in layouts, and in the graph gallery.
We have identified the problem, and it is fixed in 6.04.
Here is an easy workaround: Bring up the nonlinear regression parameters dialog, and go to the Range tab. At the bottom you set the number of XY points that define the curve. The default is 1000. Lower that value. Setting to 100 will work, and you might find that the graph looks fine with several hundred. Now the graph will show the data and curve as it should. The problem is only when the number of points defining the curve is "large".
