Prism's reports a different resuts for the Shapiro-Wilk normality than another program.
Prism, since version 4.01 and 4.0b, can perform a Shapiro-Wilk normality test as part of the column statistics analysis. With large samples, the results do not always match those of other programs. The reason is that a published algorithm for this test was inaccurate when the sample size exceeded 50. Prism now uses an updated, more accurate, algorithm:
