KNOWLEDGEBASE - ARTICLE #1254

I'm using Prism 5.01 for Windows. The borders on embedded tables on my graphs don't show when I export them or paste them into PowerPoint or Word.

You encountered a problem with Prism 5 that is easy to work around (and fixed in 5.02).

Open the Prism file (or double click from Word or PowerPoint to edit the Prism object). Now double-click on the embedded table within Prism to bring up its properties dialog. Look a the setting for border color. It is set to clear. Obviously, borders can't be clear, and Prism should not offer that choice (and certainly not default to it!). In Prism, a 'clear' border shows as black. When exported or sent to Office, it becomes white (which is invisible with a white background). Change that border color to the color you really want (not clear) and the table will look consistent in Prism and when exported.
