I have "open" symbols on an XY graph. How do I make a connecting line show through the symbol?

The default is for the line not to show through the symbol. To alter this setting, double-click on the symbol on the graph to open the "Format Symbols and Lines" dialog. Set or clear the "Clear" check box under "Symbols". This check box will not be visible if you select a closed (filled) symbol.
