I can't control the X-axis numbering interval in grouped category graph.

With Prism 5.0a Mac, it sometimes becomes impossible to set the major ticks numbering interval on grouped category graphs. The data table has no X values, and no row titles, so Prism uses the row numbers when creating the X axis. But it labels every row. If you enter a different major ticks interval, it ignores the value you enter.

We'll fix the glitch in 5.0b, but here is a work around.

1. Go to the data table.
2. Enter a space as the row title for one row.
3. Go back to the graph.
4. Double click on the X axis, to bring up the format X axis dialog
5. Now there is a choice for number format (row titles or row numbers). Choose Row numbers.
6. Now change the major ticks interval, and your choice will stick.
