I am having trouble downloading Prism or the Prism demo.
If you are seeing a message "Connection Timed Out" read this page from Microsoft.
One solution might be to use a download manager. This kind of program somehow keeps the connection open, and can enable long downloads that otherwise get canceled. We don't know much about such software, but list here several such programs (all for Windows). These are not recommendations, just links.
