How to extract Prism graphs when they are embedded into PowerPoint

When you copy a graph or layout from Prism Windows and paste into to MS PowerPoint, you embed a Prism object which contains the graph or layout and all data and results tables needed to make the graph or layout. You can also create a link from PowerPoint to Prism, but it is more common to embed. Details here:

What if you want to save a Prism file from the embedded Prism object in PowerPoint?

To extract one graph:

Double-click on the embedded graph or layout to open it within Prism. Then use File... Save As to save as a Prism file.

  • Windows only, not Mac.
  • Each Prism graph into its own Prism file with all the linked sheets. If you need them all combined within a single Prism file, you would have to merge them. More details about the merge command:

https://www.graphpad.com/guides/prism/8/user-guide/index.htm?using_merging_andsplitting_projects.htm

"Export Graphs to TIFF" will save each graph as a TIFF file into a selected folder with specified TIFF options (compression, color model, resolution).
