How can I get rid of the header (file name, date, etc.) on the top of each printed page?

The header is optional. It contains the file name and date. This can be helpful for printouts destined for a notebook, but annoying in other situations.

To remove the header, go to the Preferences dialog, then to the File&Printer tab, and uncheck the option "Print sheet name as header".

To get to the Preferences dialog in Prism Windows, drop the Edit menu and choose Preferences. In Prism Mac, drop the Prism menu and choose Preferences.
