How can I create a template including more than one data table?  Or a template that includes a layout?

Prism 4

To save a template with more than one data table: Choose "File... Save Special... Save Template...". offers the option of saving (a) just one table and its linked items or (b) an entire project.

To save a template with a layout. Choose the File... Save as command and choose to save your file in a subfolder within the templates folder within the Prism program folder. Be sure to save in a subfolder within the templates folder, and not directly in the templates folder. Once you save your file there, it will appear on the list of templates.

With Prism 3, we changed the focus of templates a bit--encouraging one to think of templates as one data table plus analyses and graphs. You can, however, make templates with more than one table. The trick is NOT to use the "File.. Save Template" command. Instead use "File.. Save as.." and choose the pzt (template) format. If you save to a subfolder in the templates folder, you'll be able to choose this template on start up.
