Bug: Some entries don't stick in dialogs in Prism 5 Mac when you leave the dialog by using the Return key.
There are two ways to complete a dialog, and have your choices count (as opposed to canceling). You can click the OK button, or you can press the Return key (same as Enter key). The two should be equivalent. In fact, on some dialogs on Prism Mac, pressing the Return/Enter key can lead to problems.
This is a problem on the main Format Axis dialog, on the secondary dialog to format additional ticks, and on the Import (Paste Special) dialog. If the last thing you do is enter text or numbers, those values will be lost (and may revert to values entered elsewhere) if you exit the dialog by pressing the Return/Enter key. For example, if you enter a number as the minimum value for a range, and then immediately press Enter/Return, that value will be lost and some other value may become the minimum.
The easiest workaround: Always exit these dialogs by clicking OK and never by pressing the Enter/Return key.
If you must use the keyboard rather than a mouse, use this workaround: After entering a value (or text), press Tab to go to the next control on the dialog before pressing the Enter/Return key.
This is a problem in Prism 5 Mac up to 5.0c. We'll fix this bug in a future release.
