KNOWLEDGEBASE - ARTICLE #1912

Bug: Prism displays X values or row numbers under the X axis, even when you asked it to display row titles.

If you have entered row titles on the data table, when plotting a Grouped or XY graph, you can choose to place those row titles as axis labels. Alternatives are X values or row numbers. This is a choice on the Format Axis dialog.

But sometimes, Prism just ignores your request and refuses to plot the row titles. This happens when your data table includes a data set column that is entirely blank. The workarounds are either to delete that blank data set column, or to enter a value in that column and then exclude that value. Either way, Prism will now label the X axis with the row titles as you asked it to.

This bug is in 6.04 (Win) and 6.0d (Mac). We are not sure about prior versions.
