Bug: Prism can forget border colors

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

Launch Prism 6.04 or earlier, create a project with symbols or bars.

  1. If symbols, choose any non-solid shape.
  2. From the graph, right click on a point or bar and from the contextual menu choose, Format This Point, Border Color, and choose a color. For bars, choose the border color of a bar this way.
  3. You will see your changes on the graph, where the selected symbol or bar has a different color than the rest.
  4. Save and close the project.
  5. Open the project in Prism 6.05.
  6. What you see is that the individually assigned border colors of symbols or bars revert back to the color of the data set.

Notes:

  • We will fix in Prism 6.06 (and 7 ...)
  • This is a bug only for Prism Windows (not Mac).
  • It is only a problem when you assign colors to the borders of individual symbols or bars. Colors assigned for the interior stick. And colors assigned to entire data sets stick. But individually assigned border colors do not.
