Bug: Excel tables pasted into Prism turn into solid black rectangles when printed or exported as pdf.

When you copy and paste an Excel table into Prism, it always looks fine in Prism. But when you then export or print, in some situations the table turns into a solid black rectangle that is impossible to read.

The problem seems to be entirely with Excel 2007. We have not seen this problem with Excel 2003 or the beta test of Excel 2010. This is a Windows issue. There is no similar problem (as far as we know with macs).

If you still have the Excel file, go back to it, copy and then use Paste Special and select EMF format. The problem is with how Excel makes WMF clipboard objects.

If you can't change the Excel table, then export the graph (and table..) from Prism using EMF format seems to work fine. The problem is with WMF and PDF and EPS formats.
