The Style selections at the top of the Format Graph dialog is where you make the most important choice about your graph. Graph points or bars? Error bars? If so, showing what error value (SD, SEM, Range, ...)?

The choices available here depend on what kind of graph you have chosen (XY, Column, Grouped, etc.) and how you entered your data.
