Frequently Asked Questions
How can I be notified when GraphPad posts new versions of its software or new articles in the library?
FAQ# 1015
We also syndicate this page. This means that it is also published in a computer readable file using the Really Simple Syndication (RSS) format (a kind of XML). The URL for this page is:
http://www.graphpad.com/blog/rss.cfm?mode=full
This page is not meant to be viewed in web browsers. Instead, it can be read by special programs designed to help you keep up to date with web sites that syndicate their content. These sites are often called "web logs" or "blogs", but the same format is used to publish many kinds of information. Programs that let you view RSS sites are called "aggregators" or "RSS readers". This page links to some of these programs. You can also use a web site designed for this purpose. I use and like bloglines, which is free to use.
When you use an aggregator (RSS reader) program or site, all the "blogs" you follow are listed, usually in a panel on the left. Subscribe to a site by dragging in the orange "XML" button, or by copying and pasting the site's URL. Sites that have new content since you last viewed them are highlighted in bold. Click on the site name to see the content added since you last viewed it. This makes it very easy to keep up-to-date with lots of web sites, without wasting your time rereading pages that haven't changed.
There is no point in using an RSS reading program just to be notified of news about GraphPad. But using such a program is a great way to keep up with many sites, and is a big advance in internet usage.
